Subtitle: I may be new to the profession, but I’m not new to caring deeply about your
travels
Welcome, friend.
I’m so glad you found your way here.
My name is Tyler Grix, and I became a travel advisor just a few months ago.
I’m going to be honest with you—because honesty is the foundation of how I work.
Some travellers might hesitate to book with someone new. I understand that
completely.
Here’s what I want you to know:
I don’t pretend to know what I don’t know.
If I haven’t visited a destination yet, I’ll tell you. If I haven’t stayed at a particular hotel,
I’ll say so. And then I’ll do something about it.
I’ll research until I know more than most guidebooks. I’ll reach out to my network of
experienced advisors. I’ll pick up the phone and call the hotel manager directly. I’ll
find answers—not just guesses.
What I do bring to the table:
- Blog Email
tylergrix@tylergrixforatravel.com
This email also reaches me directly. Use whichever feels right to you. - My Fora Travel Advisor Profile

from other travellers, and request a consultation directly through Fora’s platform.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you charge for your planning services?
Yes, but I’m always transparent about fees. Some trips include a planning fee; others
earn commission from suppliers. I’ll explain everything upfront—no surprises, no
hidden costs.
Do I have to book through you?
You don’t have to do anything. But when you book through me, you get:
- Fresh energy. I wake up every day excited to help families plan trips they’ll
remember forever. - Time and attention. I’m building my practice carefully. You won’t feel rushed
or overlooked. - Firsthand knowledge. I’ve already personally visited [list a few destinations
from your blog]. - A commitment to honesty. If a destination isn’t right for your family, I’ll tell
you. If a hotel has problems, I won’t recommend it.
What I don’t bring: - Ego
- Assumptions about what you want
- Outdated information or old habits
I may be newer to this profession, but I’m not new to travel. And I’m definitely not
new to caring deeply about getting things right for the people I serve.
So if you’re willing to trust a newer advisor with your dream vacation, here’s
my promise:
I will work harder for you than anyone expects. I will listen more carefully than you’d
imagine. And I will not rest until your trip feels exactly right—because your trust is the
only thing that matters to me.

Subtitle: No pressure. Just honest, warm advice from a travel advisor who genuinely
cares about your trip
Hello again, friend.
You’ve been reading about castles and national parks, Disneyland summers and
Grand Canyon sunrises. You’ve started picturing yourself there—standing at the rim,
walking through the castle gates, making memories with the people you love.
Now you might be wondering: “Could someone really help me make this happen?”
Yes. Absolutely yes.
That’s exactly why I became a travel advisor.
A Few Things Before You Reach Out
I want to be as honest with you here as I am in every blog post.
What You Can Expect From Me
A warm, no-pressure conversation
What I Hope You’ll Share
Where you’re dreaming of going

What I Hope You’ll Share

Any worries or questions you have
I don’t charge for consultations. The first conversation is always free. You get to
decide if we’re a good fit—no obligation, no hard feelings.
Three Ways to Reach Me
- Email (Best & Fastest)
tyler.grix@fora.travel
This is my main travel advisor email through Fora Travel. I check it daily, and most
people hear back within a few hours (or by the next morning if you write late at
night).
When you email, tell me:
- Where you’re hoping to go (or “I have no idea yet—help!”)
- Who’s travelling with you
- Anything that’s worrying you or feeling stuck
- My expertise (I’ve done the research so you don’t have to)
- My relationships with hotels and tour operators
- Someone in your corner if something goes wrong
What if I want to go somewhere you haven’t visited yet?
I love this question. Here’s my honest answer: I’ll tell you I haven’t been there yet.
Then I’ll research it thoroughly, talk to my network of experienced advisors, and get
back to you with confident, well-researched recommendations. I don’t pretend to
know what I don’t know.
How soon should I reach out before my trip?
As soon as you’re thinking about it. For popular destinations and peak seasons, 6
12 months ahead is ideal. But even if your trip is next month, reach out anyway—I’ve
pulled off some wonderful last-minute plans.
I’m not ready to book anything yet. Can I still reach out?
Absolutely. Some people email just to ask a few questions. Some want to start
dreaming out loud. Some have been reading travel blogs for months and are finally
ready to talk. All of it is welcome.
What’s the difference between emailing you directly vs. using my Fora Travel
profile?
Either works perfectly. Emailing me directly is faster for simple questions. Using my
Fora Travel profile is great if you want to book a formal consultation or learn more
about how Fora works. I’m happy with whichever feels right to you.
